If you’ve ever tried eating raw, uncooked Kale, it is a bit…different. You definitely need to acquire a taste for it, it’s a very thick leafy green.
When I tasted a Kale Caesar, I fell in love because you can’t taste the Kale! I can get all the nutrients from Kale, without the strong taste of it, thank you salad Gods! It tastes just like a regular Caesar salad, but the Kale adds so much more health benefits than romaine. Just a few, Kale is high in antioxidants, Vitamin K, iron and Vitamin C.
However, when I reached for my store bought Caesar dressing, I looked at the ingredients and counted 20 of them! Now, that “healthy” salad is completely irrelevant; Until, I made my own Caesar dressing with just 8 ingredients, that are all natural.
I didn’t measure anything, it’s all to ones personal taste
- Himalayan Salt
- Black Pepper
- Garlic fresh or powder
- Worcestershire sauce
- Lemon Juice
- Parmesan Cheese
Mix all ingredients into a bowl. You can store this dressing in a air tight jar for the whole week!
